My Birthday wishlist

I'm a spring baby and my birthday is in 10 days!! Ekkkk.... excited is an understatement.

I haven't bought any of the things I wanted recently in the hope I'd get them for my birthday so thought i'd share them with you!

This smells absolutely amazing! I really really really want it! I've been hinting to my boyfriend for weeks now and even took the page out of the magazine for him.. If anything I will go and buy it myself because I HAVE to have it!

I love pink nailpolish and this is the perfect pink for me! Its been extremely hard not to purchase this by now!

I already have a passport holder but I fell in love with this one! Its just sooo pretty!! I'm going on holiday with my boyfriend in July and all I keep thinking about is how good this would look in my bag!!

I broke my beloved laptop a few months ago and have been saving for another one. Although I must admit it is not on the top of my list. It's extremely greedy of me but if I got a laptop for my birthday I would cry (with happiness)! Although my boyfriend has said he might buy me one! *eeekkkk... I hope its PINK!!
I've been dying to try Liz earle for a while and what better excuse then my birthday! I've heard soooo many good things about this stuff!

Ok I have to admit i'm a little bit in love with Drake and am dying for his new album! I'm a huge Drake fan!

I must look so greedy but I can assure you I dont expect it all... Although it would be lovely.... haha!

My Bargain beauty buy!

Yesterday I was at my grandparents and thought i'd go for a cheeky look in poundland. The one next to them is HUGE! It used to be a sainsburys. Anyway I found a product I adore!

In the make-up section I found a 'Sally Hansen Lip Plumping treatment'

It comes in three colours, Clear, Light peach and Dark Pink. I choose the light peach as I like a lipgloss to have a little bit of something in it.

I own about twenty lipglosses and maybe even more, so thought even if it's crap I still have others.

But.. Its Brilliant!!

The gloss has a thick consistency but isn't sticky at all and has a little brush applicator which gives good coverage. Its not too small of a size either and the bonus feature? It also has a mirror on the side!!

With regards to the 'plumping' I honestly didnt see a huge difference but for £1 I dont care.

I am sooo stocking up on a few more of these beautys!

Maybelline Mascara

I must confess I have an fully fledged obsession with my Eyelashes.. The bigger the better I say!... I must admit I am very fortunate to have nice length eyelashes but I could not live without several coats of Mascara.
I have tried nearly every brand in mascara but I always seem to go back to Mabelline. I'm not sure what it is they have but, something in all maybelline mascaras works for me!
Trade secret? I do use two different mascaras at the same time but I get the best results this way. I normally use Colossal first then a coat of falsies. :)

<<<<< These are the results of Colossol and Falsies. (I have used a little liquid liner but please notice the length)

Maybelline Colossal

I absolutely love the brush on the Colossal as I find it's perfect for leaving eyelashes thick at the roots but seperated towards the end. The brush is very thick and wide and its dipenses the perfect amount of mascara to cover each lash without clumps.

Maybelline Falsies

The brush on this mascara is the first spoon brush I've seen, as you can see from the pic below it is curved and flatter than all the others. Dont let the shape fool you though, It seriously packs a punch. Instead of brushing the formula through the lashes it scoops it on and I must say is the best thing I've used to make my lashes longer in a short time. I usually use this after using the colossol or any other mascara however, It does the job fine on its own.. i'm just a little too obsessed haha!

I can 100% honestly say I would recommend a Maybelline mascara over any brand anyday!

My 3 Favourite Authors

I have to say I absolutely love reading thought I would share with you my three favourite authors!
1. Sophie Kinsella
I fell in love with the Shopaholic books from the get go. I think every woman can relate to Becky and I love the humour. These books literately had me laughing out loud on the bus. Maybe hence why I own them all! But, its not just the Shopaholic books of hers I love. She also released 'Can You Keep a Secret, Domestic Goddess' and the heart pulling 'Twenties Girl'. More recently though she has released books she wrote before the shopaholic sensation under her real name Madelene Wickham! For those of you that aren't aware of these books they are called:

*Sleeping arrangements
*Cocktails For Three
*The Wedding Girl
*The Gatecrasher
*Swimming Pool Sunday
*A Desirable Residence
*The Tennis Party

I've just finished reading 'Sleeping arrangements' and I loved it. Its about 2 families who end up in the same Spanish Villa together by 'accident.' The only thing is, Two of  these 'strangers' have a history and things could get a little messy.. I really recommend this book and I cannot wait to get started on the rest.

2. Celia Ahearn
After reading 'PS I love you' I was hooked. Theres something about the stories that really draw you in and makes you need to know what happens. It's like she keeps an air of mystery throughout and you just cant help but need to know more. One of my favourites is 'Thanks for the Memories'. Please see blurb.
"Joyce Conway remembers things she shouldn’t. She knows about tiny cobbled streets in Paris, which she has never visited. And every night she dreams about an unknown little girl with blonde hair.
Justin Hitchcock is divorced, lonely and restless. He arrives in Dublin to give a lecture on art and meets an attractive doctor, who persuades him to donate blood. It’s the first thing to come straight from his heart in a long time.
When Joyce leaves hospital after a terrible accident, with her life and her marriage in pieces, she moves back in with her elderly father. All the while, a strong sense of déjà vu is overwhelming her and she can’t figure out why.."
I absolutely loved this book... I could not for the love of me out it down.. It may have been a fictional story but Celia makes sure you connect with the characters so it's just sooooo hard to stop reading!

My other favourite is 'Where Rainbows End'. I loved this story, Its one of those where you try and read as quick as you can so you can get to the end! Its about two best friends (different sexes) who face a tough time deciding whether to take a gamble on the friendship and to turn it into something more.

Celia Ahearn really pushes the boundaries by not sticking to whats normal or real and thats why I love them so much. I really cant wait to get stuck into reading her newest book 'The Book of Tomorrow'

3. Marian Keyes
Only in the last two years have I discovered the beauty of Marian Keyes. The first time I read a book from her I knew she'd make my top 3. I first started by reading a book called 'The Other side of the Story'.  Please see blurb

"Jojo Harvey is a literary agent whose star is on the rise. In love with both her married boss and her burgeoning career, not much distracts her. Until she finds herself representing two women who used to be best friends. One of them, Gemma, has suddenly found herself from a broken home - at the age of thirty-two. Meanwhile, Lily - the woman Gemma has always blamed for stealing her one chance of happiness - is enjoying the overnight success of her debut novel. Set in the world of publishing, 'The Other Side of the Story' is about love, loyalty, glass ceilings and survival tactics - and what to do when you get your chance for revenge."
Its a classic story about female friendships and how things can get completely twisted. Us women are a hard bunch to please haha!

The second book of hers I read was 'This Charming Man'
This book is brilliant! It focus's on a serial dater called Paddy de Courcy and the women he has hurt throughout his time. Will they get a chance to get revenge? 'Four very different women. One awfully charming man. And the dark secret that binds them all …'

I can assure you that any book by any of these 3 authors will be extremely enjoyable. My amazing boyfriend and I are planning to go on holiday this year, so I cannot wait to stock up on a few books by these guys to enjoy on the beach!

I LOVE my necklace!

I must say I am absolutely Loving my new Peace necklace. I got it from a jewellery store called Bijou Brigitte. Its fairly long so comes down to just above my belly bullon.. I am 5'3 though so most things are long on me.
I think it adds a nice twist on a plain dress or T-shirt and I feel its got a Spring/Summer feeling to it. I'll be wearing mine at Festivals and summer days lounging around the park.  My camera died so couldn't get a snap of me wearing it but heres most of it:

My little Shopping trip!

What a good way to spend a Wet crappy Sunday....SHOPPING! :)

Sunday was horrid where I live.. I woke up to a lovely sunny day and all of an hour later it was pouring down. I was bored stuck in, so me and friend decided to go shopping. I'm saving my little butt of this year so I didn't get too outta control but these are the little bits I couldn't resist!

I really have a thing for that Mint colour at the moment so bought a mint Cami and these mint accessories.. All from the Brilliant Primarni!

I also bought a Coral summer lounge dress from Newlook for £9.99. I have to say I am very impressed with new look at the mo. I used to think the stuff was a little young and boring but they have really stepped it up this year! I think this dress is perfect for BBQ's with friends, lounging in the park or using on holiday over a bikini.  I also couldnt resist some Coral Accessories either.. What do you think?

Benefit 'Confessions of a Concealaholic'

I bought this kit a few months ago and like it so much I've decided it should be my first review!

This kit includes:
Boi-ing concealor 1 & 2
Erase Paste
Lemon Aid
Eye Bright
That Girl radiance primer and,
2 Application brushes

Its a little costly for £28.50 but you really do get your moneys worth. I use it practically daily and I still have over half left!

It fits nicely into my handbag and I adore the packaging! Its like opening a diary and even has instructions in a diary style.

My Favourite product is by far the Erase paste. I put a tiny amount under my eyes and poof.. Circles have gone. I also use it on spots, blemishes or any red bits and they disappear!

The Boi-ing concealor is my 2nd favourite. Benefit say its 'Industrial strength" and I can tell you it actually is! Lasts all day and I was very impressed with the coverage it gave when a nasty red spot appeared.

Lemon aid can be used sparingly but does brighten your eyelids up and I use the eyebright in the corners of my eyes to really wake them up!

The little brushes are fantastic. There great to use with this kit but I use them for other makeup also so they are very handy.

I would really recommend this kit to anyone.

S
xxxx
