Boots - no17 Free gift - 'Nail Bar in a Bag'

Hey Dolls,

*I must apologise in advance for the rush job - I'm on lunch from work and have to get a move on!ha ha  I'm busy all weekend so wont have a chance to do it then either*

I was wandering the Boots make-up isle on lunch when I came across this offer and knew I HAD to share it. I purchased two nail polishes (swatched after the promo) and got a free 'Nail bar in a bag.'

To qualify for the offer all you need to do is purchase any Two 17 products. Simples!

The Nail bar in a bag consists of Two Lasting Fix nail polishes, a nail file and cute heart nail stickers but i'll let the pics do the rest of the talking. :)

♥ The Two polishes I purchased and my free gift ♥
♥ The packaging ♥
 ♥ What you get ♥
♥ The Two colours ♥
Knockout Red & Pink Grapefruit
♥ The Two colours on (with 2 coats)
♥ The Nail Art Stickers ♥
♥ How the stickers look on ♥
The picture is my friends as I haven't had a chance to use them yet and the pink is the Pink Grapefruit after a few coats. How cute does that look?

I love the little bag the freebies come in and the fact they've wrapped the goodies in Pink tissue paper is a bonus. I'm such a sucker for cute packaging. The same colours are in every bag so you will recieve whats pictured :) I spent £6 on two nail polishes and waked away with 4 lasting fix polishes, a nail file and these adorable nail stickers.

The only bad thing is the Nail polish is VERY thin so I would suggest at least 2 or 3 coats to get it looking decent. Regardless of that though, I think it's a fantastic offer so I urge you to go and get them while you can as the offer ends 10th July.

Like the look of the two I purchased? Heres a snap :)

Left to right
♥ Nightshade
♥ Orange Soda

Nightshade is basically Black and Orange Soda is a nice Orange/Coral colour which is perfect for summer! Again, I needed at least 2 coats of each as they are really thin esp Nightshade and you can still see your nail. But hey, they dry really quick and only cost £2.99.

I Heart Pink Nails!

Hi Ladies,

I currently have a little obsession with pink nails and in the past few weeks, have purchased quite a few. I thought I would share them with you as I had an absolute nightmare finding my perfect pink. I found it in no7 Fairy cake (reviewed here) but thought I'd show you the others.

♥ The bottles ♥
left to right
♥ W7 from Peacocks - no name I'm afraid :(
♥ Nails Inc - Brompton Place
♥ Rimmel - 295 Fancy Fuchsia
♥ Rimmel - 291 Urban Princess
♥ Barry M - 279 Bright Pink

♥ How they come out ♥
Thumb to little finger
Same as above although the colours actually look a little lighter than how they appear here. hmmmm..

If I'm not wearing my fave then I normally choose my Nails Inc. The only thing about Nails Inc is I don't like the brush. Its too thin and takes FOREVER to dry! :( Oh well I love the colour and it was a gift from my boyfriends sis so its my 2nd fave just for that!
Speaking of nail polish, I've heard The Sun (newspaper) is giving away 2 bottles of Nails Inc polish! All you have to do is buy the News of the World this Sunday, 19th June and collect three tokens in the magazine that comes with it in the next four weeks. Once you've collected these pop by a tesco and collect! Ta-da! They come in two shades, an Orange and a Bright Pink :D. I cant wait to get mine.

Graze Box

Hey Hunnies,

Well.. This a bit of an unusual post as its not beauty product related BUT, I had to tell you about my latest find!

I'm a huge eater and would eat all day is my waist didn't always expand ha-ha, so when I came across this little beauty I was very excited.

Let me introduce to you The Graze Box. If you love snacking or are looking to shed a few pounds without starvation then this is perfect for you! Its a customed box that is delivered Tuesdays & Thursdays (you can choose how many/little you want and when) and contains 4 snack pots filled with organic, healthy and tasty treats.

I signed up for my free box and it came today :D

How it comes

Inside ♥

As you can see there are four compartments that contain the little treats.

Extras that come with it

You get an information booklet about Graze and what they do, use and general well being tips, a booklet about whats in your box and the nutritional info e.g Calories, fat, salt etc and offers, a serviette (always handy) and I got a wooden toothpick which I presume is for my olives. Now I have to say that is pretty well thought out.

♥ My treats ♥

The great thing is, these snacks are picked by your own tastes so your always get things you like. They have a list of over 100 snacks and you can go through them rating them from 'send soon to Bin' just so they know what you want and what you don't. I handpicked these as some of my most wanted so I am so pleased they came.

Today I've managed to eat the Olives and the Herb garden cracker mix and the quality of the food is brilliant. There are so many flavours and knowing there all healthy and fresh made eating them all the more enjoyable.

Elemis Pro Radiance Cleanser VS Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish

Hello Dolls,

Well, I finished my Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish and decided instead of restocking, I would take up a fantastic offer which included a Elemis Pro radiance cleanser. I got a 5 piece set of full size Elemis products for £35, and lets be honest, its not a deal to turn your nose up at.

Anyway, I have been using my Elemis Pro Radiance cleanser for a week now, and decided I would do a comparison between the two as they are actually very similar.

The products:

*Please see end of post on stockists and where to buy*

Both the Cleanse & Polish, and the Pro Radiance cleanser have a rich and creamy consistency and are used in the same way.

Top to bottom:
Liz Earle - Cleanse & Polish
Elemis - Pro Radiance

For anyone that hasn't tried the Cleanse & Polish or Pro Radiance, it goes a little something like this:

♥ Massage the cleanser on to a dry face and leave it for a minute to really dissolve makeup, oil or grime.
♥ Whilst waiting, place the muslin cloth or hand mitts into a bowl or sink full with hot water.
♥ Ring out your Muslin cloth or hand mitt so it is damp. It doesn't work as effectively if it dripping wet or quite wet.
♥ Then in circular motions or long strokes wipe away your makeup
♥ Pat your face dry and admire your amazing healthy skin (Don't forget to clean your cloth or mitt afterwards though as it can get rather dirty and that would just be pointless).

Both cleansers are cream based rather than soap based, and are packed full with natural ingredients that really give your skin a deep clean and a boost.

Cleanse and Polish contains: Cocoa butter, Rosemary essential oil/extract/, Hops extract, Chamomile Essential Oil/Extract, Eucalyptus Essential Oil, pro-vitamin B5, Beeswax and Glycerin (which attracts water to the skin)

Elemis Pro Radiance contains: Sweet Brazilian Orange, Lavender, Ylang Ylang,  Patchouli, Moringa Seed Peptide, Great Burdock, Noni and Assai Fruit.

As you can see, both cleansers are packed with some amazing ingredients and fight signs of aging, fatigue and help achieve a more radiant and hydrated skin :)

Similarity's

♥ Both Cleaners do what they say on the tub. They get rid of every smidgen of makeup and leave skin extremely soft, clean and hydrated.
♥ Both contain some AMAZING natural ingredients that really boost your skin, and give it what it needs in this day & age.
♥ Both have won numerous awards in the Beauty industry (Liz Earle has the most)
♥ Both feel extremely luxurious to use

Differences:

♥ Price. Elemis Pro Radiance is priced at £27.50 for 150ml and only comes in one size. Liz Earle is much more reasonable at £21.95 for 200ml, £11.55 for 100ml (without a muslin cloth), £7.65 for 50ml and £5.10 for 30ml.
♥ Smell. Pro Radiance doesn't really have a scent which surprises me considering it contains Ylang Ylang, Lavender and Orange. It's personal preference though as I like a product to smell of something enticing. Cleanse & Polish does have a slight scent and its mostly Eucalyptus. I don't personally like this smell but I must admit it does make my skin feel cleaner.

In my personal opinion I would most likely buy Liz Earle again, probably just for the price and the fact it's better suited for younger skin compared to the Pro Radiance. Saying that my skin is absolutely glowing at the moment and I used it on my boyfriend and he absolutely loved it.

You can buy the Cleanse & Polish and the Muslin clothes here or at John Lewis Stores.
You can buy the Elemis Pro Radiance Cleanser and Mitts here or John Lewis Stores, Asos and the QVC site.

L'oreal Colour Riche Serum lipstick

Hey Dolls,

On Saturday I purchased my first ever Lipstick (well one I will try and wear often) and I can't believe I wasted so many years!!

I got L'oreal colour Riche serum lipstick in S101 (Freshly candy) which is a light pink and I adore it! please see pics below.

In the middle of the stick is a boosting serum which contains Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid. It really does hydrate and plump. I wore it last night to my friends Ann summers party and got loads of compliments. I did find though, that it doesn't last very long. Saying that I was drinking, so I had to re apply every 30 mins or so. :(

Regardless of that I love it and have just ordered 2 Mac lipsticks from my Aunt in St Germain and Snob. Might as well while I'm a roll ha-ha.

I now completely understand why people say they love wearing lipstick as I really did feel more glam with it on.

I retails at £8.69 in Superdrug and Boots.

Whats your favourite lipstick? Any recommendations?

Award!

Hey Dolls,

I was super excited this morning when I read Nena had given me a Stylish Blogger award! I am actually chuffed, as I never thought I'd get one of these <3 Thank you Hunny! <3

Apparently the rules are this, I must state 7 facts about myself and then give 7 fellow bloggers the award. This is tough as I read soooo many!

My 7 Facts:

* I am an only child.. I always wanted to have a sister but unfortunately my mum didn't feel the same! ha-ha

* I wanted to be an actress for most of my life and at the age of 14 actually wrote to Eastenders begging them for a role and gave them a storyline I could do. They wrote back advising Drama school and enclosed a signed pic of all the cast!..I went to College for Drama but then I hit 17 fell in love and kind of gave up.

*I am the biggest animal lover, I cry if I step on a snail and give monthly to WSPCA charity and sponsor a dog.

*My favourite thing to eat is Italian food, but Chinese does come a close 2nd.

* I can't drink Vodka... When I was 15 me and a group of friends thought it would be a good idea to raid our friends parents booze cupboard. We decided to take the bottles of Vodka and what a mistake that was. I drunk half a largeg bottle of straight vodka and was completely wrecked. There was a park where we all lived and I rolled down the hill for fun, Cut my butt with glass, cried as our guy friend wasnt moving and I thought he was dead and then passed out. As well as managing to leave my phone outside his house all night. We all had school the next day but I couldn't go as I was tooo hungover. Luckily I called my mum Sober and said I was staying at my friends house. Ever since that night the smell of Vodka makes me sick.

*I absolutely love reading. I read girlie novels mostly but I do love a good murder crime book too.

*Every Friday I convince myself i'm going to win the Euro Millions. I even have a list of what I would spend it on :)

7 Bloggers I feel deserve it:
I was going to give one to Nena but she already has one and not sure if you can do it twice?

Superdrug Vitamin E Day & Night Cream

Hey Dolls,

I thought I'd share my favourite facial moisturiser with you. This is one of my must have products that I always revert back too.

I've been buying this cream for probably about 3 years and it's still my favourite! I've tried several brands, including Biotherm, Clinique, Liz Earle and Elizabeth Arden but none of them have beaten my £2.99 Superdrug own brand.

What they say:

Day cream: "Provides 12-hour moisturisation and has been specifically developed to hydrate, nourish and protect your skin against the sun's UVA and UVB rays. Enriched with naturally sourced Vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant that will help to shield your skin against environmental damage and premature aging by combating the harmful effects of free radicals. The nourishing formula also contains a skin conditioning multivitamin complex comprising Vitamins A, B, F and H which combined with Horse chestnut extract, helps care for dry skin"

Night Cream: "Has been specifically developed to help rehydrate and nourish your skin while you sleep, leaving it feeling soft, smooth and looking radiant in the morning. Enriched with naturally sourced Vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant that will help shield your skin against environmental damage and premature skin aging by combating the harmful effects on free radicals. The rich formula also contains a skin conditioning multivitamin complex comprising vitamins A, B, F and H which combined with Horse chestnut extract, helps care for dry skin"

The day cream has a thick consistency and feels quite luxurious, yet drys quite quickly. It has this Divine Coconut smell (if you like Coconut) and really reminds me of tropical destinations. Plus it contains SPF and we all know how important that is. :)

The night cream isn't as thick I don't think but it's not runny at all either. It has the same divine Coconut smell and again, drys quite quickly. Once I've used it my skin feels really nourished and hydrated.

I have normal skin which can sometimes get a little dry so this product is perfect for me. If you have Oily skin then I'm not sure I'd recommend it as it is quite thick and creamy.

I've also in the past, used the Vitamin E face oil which I swore by in winter. I used it just as I got out the bath/shower then massaged in the oil, and when I woke up my face was as smooth as a baby's bottom.

Overview:

Advantages
*It's only £2.99 and you get 100ml
*It lasts ages. I use it daily and it lasts about 3 months.
*The day cream contains 15spf
*Is smells AMAZING!
* Leaves skin seriously soft
*Perfect base for make-up as it doesn't Curdle on your face when your putting foundation on (you know when it sticks together and you get white bits after a bit of rubbing?)

Dis-Advantages
*Erm None!! Well apart from I'm not sure how oily skin would get on with it.

Its currently on offer at Superdrug for £1.99 a pot! Get yours here or pop into a Superdrug :)

Have any of you tried the Vitamin E range? If so what are your thoughts? Do you love it or hate it and why?
